Meghan Markle is growing increasingly concerned that her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, will hold her responsible in the future for the choices she made.
In 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan relocated to the US after stepping down from their senior royal roles due to their grievances with the royal family. Now, royal author Tom Quinn suggests that Meghan may regret this decision.
Quinn explained that Meghan's aristocratic friends in the UK have disclosed that the Duchess "misses" certain aspects of royal life but remains steadfast in her refusal to return due to lingering resentment towards the royals.
"We must always remember the adage 'never say never,' as it may come back to haunt you when circumstances change, especially for public figures like Meghan," Quinn remarked.
Quoting Meghan's UK acquaintances, Quinn revealed that Meghan worries about her children blaming her if they never have the opportunity to bond with their cousins and feel deprived of the potential joys of life as working royals in the UK.
Reports suggest that Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet currently have no relationship with the three children of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
