Meghan Markle faces criticism amid Kate Middleton's health struggle.
Meghan Markle drew ire after launching a business venture amidst the royal family's health crisis.
In an interview with The Sun, royal expert Angela Levin suggested that Meghan's new Netflix project might be a calculated move to divert attention from King Charles and Kate Middleton's illnesses.
Levin also accused Meghan of exerting control over her husband, Prince Harry, since their relationship began.
"She has repeatedly expressed disdain for the Royal Family and the UK, displaying remarkable unkindness and rudeness," Levin stated.
"While claiming not to want to interfere during Catherine and the King's illness, she has previously involved herself during the Duke of Edinburgh's illness and the Queen's health issues, so her claims are dubious," the royal expert continued.
Levin referred to Meghan's interview with The Cut, published shortly before Queen Elizabeth II's passing in 2022.
In the interview, Meghan implied that forgiving the Royal Family for their actions towards her and Harry would require significant effort.
"I believe forgiveness is crucial. Refusing to forgive requires far more energy," Meghan stated in the August 2022 interview.
"However, forgiveness itself is a strenuous endeavor. I have actively strived for it, knowing I have the freedom to speak my truth."
