Prince William brightened the spirits of those around him as he shared a lighthearted moment during a recent visit to a school, where he also revealed a playful joke from Princess Charlotte.
During his visit to St Michael's Church of England High School in Rowley Regis, the Duke of Cambridge engaged with students about mental health initiatives. In a jovial mood, he remarked, "I've been asked to produce a dad joke," showcasing his upbeat demeanor.
In a playful nod to British comedian Jack Whitehall, Prince William quipped, "I'm trying to channel Jack Whitehall, because most of his jokes are pretty dad-like."
Adding to the cheerful atmosphere, Prince William shared his daughter Charlotte's favorite joke: "What I'll do is I'm going to say a joke that's Charlotte's favorite joke at the moment, she keeps telling me, I'll do that instead."
Prompting interaction from the students, Prince William initiated the joke: "Knock knock."
Responding eagerly, the students chimed, "Who's there?"
With a mischievous grin, Prince William continued, "Interrupting cow."
Before the students could complete the joke, Prince William interjected with a hearty "Moo!"
The students responded with good-natured groans, prompting Prince William to reflect, "Yep, that's what I get a lot at home at the moment. That's the greatest one I can think of, it's clean and broadcastable."
