Royal Family to Keep Queen Elizabeth II’s Birthday Tribute Private

April 21 would have marked Queen Elizabeth's 98th birthday, but even in her absence, her memory remains cherished. The royal family has revealed that they will honor what would have been her birthday in a private manner, refraining from any public gestures.

Former royal butler Grant Harrold, speaking on behalf of Slingo, shared that there are no plans for a public ceremony to remember the late monarch. However, he expressed confidence that privately, the family will raise a toast to her in the evening, dedicating the day to reflecting on Queen Elizabeth's remarkable life.

Harrold also suggested that members of the public who were devoted to the Queen may choose to visit her resting place at the King George VI Memorial Chapel at Windsor Castle to pay their respects by leaving flowers and other tributes.

Reflecting on his own encounters with the monarch, Harrold fondly remembered her sense of humor. He recounted an anecdote where the Queen's playful wit left those around her pleasantly surprised, highlighting her captivating personality and ability to keep others guessing.
