Trump’s Re-Election Bid Reignites Questions About Harry’s Immigration Documents
Donald Trump's presidential campaign has reignited speculation about Prince Harry’s US visa status, with the former President suggesting he might take a closer look at the Duke of Sussex's immigration documents if discrepancies are found.
The strained relationship between the Sussexes and Trump dates back to 2020, when Harry and Meghan urged Americans to reject Trump’s rhetoric. Now, with Trump eyeing a return to the White House, royal commentator Lee Cohen has noted that the Duke’s visa status could face renewed scrutiny.
Speaking on the matter, Trump hinted that "appropriate action" would be taken if evidence shows Harry’s documentation was misleading, particularly concerning his admitted past drug use.
Cohen, a frequent critic of the Sussexes, remarked, "While this issue may not be Trump’s immediate focus, it’s certainly one that could draw attention, especially given the couple’s strained standing in the US." He added, "It feels like karma that the Sussexes' fortunes have soured recently. Their poor decisions are catching up with them."
Cohen also noted that Trump’s son, Eric, has criticized Harry and Meghan’s declining popularity in America, suggesting the President-elect may consider public sentiment when deciding how to handle the visa issue.
