Princess of Wales Issues First Statement Following Confirmation of Her Carol Service Appearance
Princess Kate has delighted fans with her first message following the exciting announcement of her return to host the annual Together At Christmas Carol Service.
On November 13, Kensington Palace released a video featuring Kate showcasing the creation of festive invitations for the event, complete with her initial. The Princess of Wales added a teasing caption, “Something exciting is coming…”
The statement continued, “The invitations are fresh off the press for this year’s Together At Christmas Carol Service, which will be returning to Westminster Abbey on Friday, December 6.”
The Princess warmly invited the public to join the festive occasion, announcing, “We can’t wait for you to join us too! Tune in on @itv and @itvxofficial on Christmas Eve.”
The Palace earlier shared a note confirming Kate’s upcoming appearance, highlighting the theme of the event: “The service will shine a light on individuals from all over the UK who have shown love, kindness, and empathy in their communities.”
The message further elaborated, “This year, Her Royal Highness wanted to celebrate those who support others in need—people who have inspired, comforted, and shown that love is the greatest gift we can give.”
The carol service, inspired by the Christmas story, aims to encourage reflection on empathy and the shared human experience of giving and receiving compassion.
This will be Kate’s first major public appearance since attending solemn Remembrance Day events, following her completion of chemotherapy earlier this year.
