Emotional Prince William opens up about his promise to Princess Charlotte and shares update on Kate's health.
During his fourth annual Earthshot Awards ceremony in Cape Town, Prince William got emotional as he shared heartfelt moments about his family, including a sweet promise he made to his daughter, Princess Charlotte. The Prince of Wales, who was seen wearing a bracelet gifted by Charlotte, told Sky News, “I made a promise to Charlotte to wear it.”
William also expressed his wish for his three children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis — saying that they are "proud" of his Earthshot Prize initiative. His emotional remarks came as he provided an update on Kate’s health.
The Prince held back tears while discussing Princess Catherine’s recovery, revealing, “She’s doing really well. She’s been amazing.” William paid tribute to Kate, noting her strength during a challenging year of cancer treatment.
“She’s been incredible this whole year, and hopefully, she’s watching tonight, cheering me on,” William shared. “I know she’s eager to see tonight’s event be a success.”
