Prince William and Catherine’s office has released a touching video message following Buckingham Palace’s latest update on Queen Camilla. In the new clip shared by the Prince and Princess of Wales' social media accounts, William reflects on his visit to South Africa as he wraps up his four-day tour.
The video shows the Prince meeting with locals and enjoying his final day by the sea in Cape Town, including a barbecue with celebrities Heidi Klum, Winnie Harlow, and Billy Porter at Kalk Bay Harbour. William praised the efforts of the 2023 Earthshot Prize finalist, Abalobi, a sustainable fishing initiative supporting local communities.
Kensington Palace captioned the video: “Witnessing the @earthshotprize in action and celebrating South African innovation in sustainable fishing with @abalobi_app. Our 2023 Earthshot Finalist is empowering local fishers and communities with technology to ensure fairer livelihoods and transparent sourcing from sea to table.”
Shortly after William’s video was shared, Buckingham Palace released a new update featuring Queen Camilla. The Palace highlighted Camilla’s ongoing work supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence, previewing her involvement in an upcoming ITV documentary titled Her Majesty The Queen: Behind Closed Doors.
The Palace’s message read: “The Queen has worked to amplify the voices of survivors for over a decade. In the forthcoming documentary, you’ll learn more about her advocacy and the vital conversations she’s helping bring to the forefront.”
The dual updates showcase the active roles both William and Camilla are playing in their respective areas of focus, underscoring the continued engagement of the royal family in impactful causes.
