Prince William has reclaimed his crown as the “Sexiest Bald Man Alive” for the second year running, beating out Hollywood heavyweights such as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal, and Vin Diesel.
This title, awarded based on a study conducted by search marketing agency Reboot, analyzed search traffic and various physical attributes that contribute to public appeal. The results confirm that even as the Prince of Wales approaches his mid-40s, his popularity shows no signs of waning.
The analysis looked at factors including the frequency of image searches for bald celebrities, the “golden ratio” of facial features, and a unique "shine factor" to measure the radiance of their bald scalps. Prince William’s search results were particularly impressive, with 16,800 searches annually for terms like “Prince William shirtless,” indicating continued public fascination with the royal.
While the recognition has solidified William’s appeal, his recent attempt to grow a beard didn’t sit well with his daughter, Princess Charlotte. The Prince shared a lighthearted story, revealing that Charlotte burst into “floods of tears” upon seeing his new facial hair.
“She didn’t like it the first time at all,” William admitted. “I got floods of tears, so I had to shave it off. But when it grew back, I managed to convince her it was going to be OK!”
Despite the mixed family reaction to his beard, Prince William’s distinctive bald look and charisma continue to captivate the public, securing his place at the top of the “Sexiest Bald Man” list for another year.
