Prince William and Catherine opt for private family time with Middletons at Anmer Hall
Catherine is expected to spend Easter with her close family as she and Prince William reportedly declined King Charles’ invitation to the traditional royal gathering at Windsor Castle.
According to reports, the Prince and Princess of Wales have chosen a quieter celebration at their Norfolk residence, Anmer Hall, where they may be joined by Catherine’s mother, Carole, and sister, Pippa Middleton.
Sources suggest the couple wanted to enjoy extended time with their children during the school break, prioritising a relaxed family gathering with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis over the formal royal festivities.
The decision comes amid Catherine’s ongoing health recovery, with the Waleses also having missed last year’s service due to her cancer diagnosis. It’s understood the Prince of Wales personally informed King Charles of their plans, and the monarch was supportive of their decision.
The reunion with the Middleton family is expected to offer the Princess comfort and familiarity during a period of healing, as the future Queen continues to prioritise her well-being and time with her loved ones.
