Royal author warns Sussexes are at breaking point amid fame, family rift, and personal struggles
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are facing mounting troubles as royal biographer Tom Bower prepares to unveil startling new revelations about the couple's turbulent journey and alleged relationship crisis.
In his forthcoming book, Bower delves into what he describes as a critical turning point for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, exploring their ongoing battle for survival following their departure from royal life and move to the United States.
The author, known for his 2022 bestseller Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors, claims Harry and Meghan’s lives are defined by constant conflict, fuelled by a desire for revenge and a relentless pursuit of personal redemption.
“This is such a famous couple who are fighting for themselves all the time,” Bower explained. “They are relentless and restless, and that’s what makes it so interesting.”
Bower asserts that the couple’s decision to step away from royal duties has triggered a series of personal and professional challenges. He also suggests their ambitions are misaligned, stating: “Meghan wants to be a billionaire celebrity and Harry doesn’t understand that world—other than knowing Meghan wants to be famous.”
As Harry reportedly faces a breakdown within his Sentebale charity, Bower notes that both he and Meghan have been left “wounded” by events over the past few years, yet they remain determined to fight back.
“The battle for survival and the fight for revenge is increasing by the week,” he claimed, adding that “so many new things have come out about them” that will be explored in his upcoming book.
Bower's latest project is expected to shed new light on the Sussexes' strained ties with the Royal Family, their struggle for relevance in the public eye, and the mounting pressure on their marriage.
