Duchess turns to Hollywood star power to revive interest in struggling series
Meghan Markle is said to be turning to Hollywood in hopes of reviving her new podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, which has had a reportedly “horrific” start.
According to US Express, the Duchess of Sussex has reached out to A-list actress Jennifer Aniston in what sources describe as a “desperate” attempt to bring star power to the show and boost its appeal.
“Meghan is hoping Jen will be there for her – as soon as possible – as a guest,” an insider claimed. “She knows she needs a major A-list name to bounce back fast after such a mixed start.”
Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield addressed the claims in a recent YouTube video, stating that Meghan appears eager to secure top-tier celebrity guests to save the podcast. “The story circulating is that Meghan Markle is desperate to secure some A-listers for her new podcast… and one specific name that’s been mentioned is Jennifer Aniston,” she said.
Neither Meghan nor Aniston has publicly commented on the potential collaboration.
The Duchess launched her podcast on April 8, with episodes featuring Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd and Girls Who Code founder Reshma Saujani released so far. Despite the show’s inspiring theme, early reception has been lukewarm—prompting Meghan to reportedly explore new strategies to gain momentum.
