Duchess shares homemade jam as a heartfelt thank-you and glimpse into her lifestyle brand
Meghan Markle showcased her thoughtful side by sending a personalised gift to podcast host Amanda Hirsch, following Hirsch’s public support of her new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan.
The Duchess of Sussex gifted a jar of her signature raspberry jam from her upcoming lifestyle brand, As Ever. Packaged in a rustic wooden box with a burlap bow, the homemade preserve left Hirsch both surprised and touched. “I just feel protective of her,” the Not Skinny But Not Fat host shared on her podcast, after voicing concerns over possible backlash Meghan might face.
The jam, which Meghan made using berries grown at her Montecito home, made its debut in episode two of her docuseries. “These vines were here actually when we moved in,” she explained while picking fruit for the preserves.
The sweet gesture has fans praising Meghan on social media, with one admirer writing, “That’s so Meghan, sending jam with love!”
More than just a gift, the jam also hints at Meghan’s growing entrepreneurial ambitions. Her As Ever brand, inspired by her California lifestyle, is set to offer curated products, with raspberry jam among the first. It aligns closely with her new podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, where she engages in candid conversations with fellow women entrepreneurs.
Sharing her excitement online, Hirsch posted, “I can’t believe she sent this!” alongside photos of the elegant packaging — a gesture that reflects Meghan’s mix of warmth, branding savvy, and connection to her supporters.
