However, in a surprising move, Spotify has shared the trailer for Meghan’s upcoming podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, signalling renewed support. According to the platform, the series will feature “unfiltered stories behind the successes of notable female founders” and is set to launch on April 8.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told GB News the move could be seen as a positive development for the couple. “Their deal with Spotify was worth £18 million, and they ended up being called ‘f***ing grifters’ by one of the executives,” he said. “The fact that Spotify is now plugging this podcast is clearly an olive branch—and a win for the Sussexes after what’s been a brutal time.”
The podcast’s promotion marks a rare positive headline for Harry and Meghan, who may now be hoping to rebuild momentum and reconnect with audiences through Meghan’s return to the audio space.
