Royal Expert Confirms Prince Andrew’s Public Role is Officially Over
Prince William has reportedly played a decisive role in shaping Prince Andrew’s future within the royal family, with King Charles fully supporting the outcome.
The Duke of York made a rare public appearance last week, attending the Easter service at St George’s Chapel. His return raised eyebrows, particularly as the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children were notably absent — a move seen as reflecting William’s ongoing reluctance to associate with his uncle. Andrew was stripped of his royal titles following the exposure of his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein and the ensuing scandal.
According to royal commentator Bronte Coy, the royal family has already agreed on Prince Andrew’s limited role. Speaking to The Sun, she said, "I can’t imagine that the King or Prince William or any of the other senior royals would agree that he should return to public duty. I think that’s a matter that's been laid to rest."
Coy further noted that the arrangement appears to have been accepted across the family, including by Andrew himself. While the Duke of York will not resume official duties, he is expected to continue participating in private family gatherings.
