Prince William Returns to Royal Duties as Kate Middleton Remains Out of Spotlight

Prince of Wales to visit London youth centre while Princess focuses on health and family

Prince William is set to resume royal duties next week, stepping back into public life without Princess Kate, who continues to recover privately while focusing on her health and time with family.

After a brief pause from engagements, the Prince of Wales will visit Mentivity on April 24—a London-based youth organisation that provides safe spaces and guidance for over 400 young people each week.

William will tour Mentivity House, the group's new community hub on the Aylesbury Estate, which offers youth clubs, skills workshops, and essential support services such as food and hygiene banks. During the visit, he will meet founders Sayce Holmes-Lewis and Leon Wright, both of whom grew up locally.

The future king is also expected to take part in youth activities and join a roundtable discussion on improving employment pathways for young people, led by The Apprentice winner and Mentivity patron Tim Campbell MBE.

William has kept a low profile in recent weeks, prioritising time with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis over their Easter break. He was recently seen attending Aston Villa’s Champions League match with George, in a rare father-son outing despite the team’s defeat.

As Princess Kate remains out of the public eye, the Prince’s return marks a gradual resumption of royal responsibilities while the family continues to navigate a quieter chapter.
