Madame Tussauds unveils stunning update as Princess of Wales prepares for her next royal chapter
Catherine, Princess of Wales, has received a glamorous new tribute as Madame Tussauds London unveiled a dazzling wax figure crafted to reflect her future role as Queen.
Revealed on Wednesday, the new statue stands in the Royal Palace section of the museum and showcases the Princess in a breathtaking recreation of her Jenny Packham gown, first worn at the Diplomatic Reception in December 2023. The ensemble is completed with Gianvito Rossi ‘Rania 105’ silver pumps, the iconic Lover’s Knot tiara, and replicas of the Royal Victorian Order sash, Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II, and Greville Diamond Chandelier earrings.
“This latest addition captures the elegance, strength, and grace of Catherine,” said Steve Blackburn, Senior General Manager of Madame Tussauds. “She has been sculpted to ensure her resemblance is truly fit for a future Queen, standing proudly alongside her dashing husband.”
The studio revealed that the figure took 12 artists an entire year to complete, with an in-house team dedicating five months to recreating every detail of her ensemble.
Catherine’s upgraded likeness not only celebrates her growing presence within the monarchy but also offers visitors a glimpse of the poised Queen she is destined to become.
