Beatrice and Eugenie Praise Their Mother’s Strength and Spirit in Podcast Chat
Princess Beatrice has opened up about the emotional impact of her parents’ separation, praising her mother, Sarah Ferguson, for navigating the “challenging” divorce from Prince Andrew with unwavering strength and positivity.
In a joint appearance with her sister Princess Eugenie on the podcast Lessons From Our Mothers, hosted by Cressida Bonas, Beatrice reflected on how their mother turned hardship into resilience and adventure.
“There was always an adventure to be had,” Beatrice said. “Looking back, even during the harder times—through divorce and challenging moments—there was always something positive to hold on to.”
Fergie and Prince Andrew separated in 1992 but have remained on good terms and continue to live together at Royal Lodge.
Beatrice and Eugenie fondly recalled childhood memories and praised the Duchess of York for instilling in them “resilience, strength, and individuality.”
In a video shared on Bonas’s Instagram, Beatrice added, “I feel so grateful that we’re able to share our mum with so many people because she’s such a force to be reckoned with.”
The touching interview gave a rare glimpse into the deep bond between the Duchess and her daughters—and the enduring values that shaped their lives.
