Princess Beatrice Signals Support for Catherine as York Sisters Step Back from Harry Feud

Beatrice mirrors Princess Catherine’s look amid reports the royal cousins have abandoned efforts to reconcile with the Sussexes

Princess Beatrice has subtly shown her allegiance to Princess Catherine as reports emerge that she, along with Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall, has withdrawn from trying to mend the royal rift involving Prince Harry.

Beatrice attended the FEVO Sport Industry Awards 2025 on May 15 wearing a black Self-Portrait dress — the same design Princess Catherine wore in white at the VE Day 80th anniversary concert on May 8. The fashion choice is being interpreted by royal watchers as a quiet but intentional show of support for the Princess of Wales.

Princess Eugenie has also recently made style choices that appear to echo Catherine’s, further fueling speculation that the York sisters are aligning with the future Queen amid growing frustration over Harry’s continued public criticism of the royal family.

According to the Scottish Daily Express, Beatrice, Eugenie, and Zara Tindall — once considered Harry’s closest allies within the Firm — have decided to step back completely from playing peacekeepers. The shift comes after Harry’s most recent televised interview, which insiders say reignited family tensions and left even his most sympathetic relatives disheartened.

“The rest of the family is also fed up,” an insider revealed. “Beatrice, Eugenie, and Zara held out the longest, determined to bring about peace — but even they have now given up after their proffered olive branches were routinely sharpened into arrows and fired back.”

The source added that while the late Queen Elizabeth II had always maintained an open-door policy toward Harry and Meghan, “now, it seems to be locked and bolted.”

Harry’s ongoing decision to speak publicly about private family matters appears to have deepened the divide — and even those who once stood by him are now quietly stepping away.
