Royal update highlights future Queen’s public return as Duke of Sussex confirms Invictus dates
Kensington Palace released a striking video of Princess Kate on 10 June, shortly after Harry announced his upcoming return to the UK for the 2027 Invictus Games.
The video captured the Princess of Wales during her visit to the newly opened V&A East Storehouse in East London, where she appeared poised in a navy blue Alexander McQueen suit.
Accompanying the footage, the Palace wrote: "A special visit to V&A East Storehouse and a new kind of museum experience." The statement continued: "Built to open up access to over 600,000 objects, this purpose-designed space brings people closer than ever to the V&A’s remarkable collections."
Harry’s announcement confirmed that the Invictus Games will return to the UK from 10 to 17 July 2027. However, it remains unlikely that senior members of the Royal Family will attend amid ongoing strained relations.
For her engagement, Princess Kate restyled an ensemble she last wore in December 2023. She completed the look with loose waves and minimal, glowing makeup during her tour of the vibrant East London venue.
