Seven-year-old Prince charms crowds by copying his grandfather’s royal wave on the Palace balcony
Prince Louis once again proved he’s the royal family’s scene-stealer as he delighted fans with a heartwarming moment alongside King Charles during this year’s Trooping the Colour celebrations.
As the Royal Family gathered on the Buckingham Palace balcony following the traditional parade, the young prince was seen watching his grandfather closely before playfully copying the King's signature wave to the cheering crowds below. The sweet gesture drew smiles from both royals and onlookers, as Louis mirrored Charles’ movements with infectious enthusiasm.
Even after other members of the family had begun to return inside, Louis continued waving energetically — eventually sneaking in one last cheeky farewell before Catherine gently guided him out of view.
Earlier in the day, Louis also shared a tender moment with his older brother Prince George during their carriage ride down the Mall. According to a lip reader quoted by The Sun, Louis turned to George and asked, “Should I wave?” to which George responded, “It’s up to you.” Noticing the sunshine, George added, “I can’t believe how sunny it is,” prompting Louis to say, “Let’s do it together.”
From mimicking his grandfather’s gestures to bonding with his brother, Prince Louis once again melted hearts — reminding everyone why he’s one of the royal family’s most beloved young figures.
