King Charles Offered Multi-Million Deal as Marvel Plans to Film at Windsor

Royal family to benefit from blockbuster shoot as Avengers: Doomsday heads to Windsor Great Park

King Charles is reportedly set to receive a surprising windfall after Marvel Studios struck a multi-million-pound deal to film parts of its upcoming Avengers: Doomsday at Windsor Great Park.

According to The Sun, the Hollywood giant plans to bring in around 300 cast and crew members over the summer to shoot scenes for the next instalment of the Marvel franchise on royal grounds.

Sources say the lucrative offer, while a modest sum by Marvel’s standards, will directly contribute to the upkeep of Windsor Great Park—an estate managed by the Crown Estates, whose profits partly benefit the royal family. King Charles receives 25 percent of those profits through the Sovereign Grant.

“It’s a win-win for everyone,” an insider explained. “Marvel’s movies make billions, and several million pounds for access to the park is just chicken feed to them.”

The film features an all-star cast including Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Sir Ian McKellen, and Pedro Pascal. With filming taking place so close to the royal residence, it’s even speculated that Prince William, Catherine, and their children might pay a visit to the set.

Although The Crown Estate declined to comment on the arrangement, the news marks an unexpected Hollywood connection for King Charles—one that could bring both global attention and financial benefit to the royal household.
