Duchess of Sussex Doubles Down on Brand Focus After Hitting Pause on Podcast
Meghan Markle is proving she’s keeping her promise to “focus” as she builds anticipation for the latest release from her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
Following her announcement that she would be pausing her Confessions of a Female Founder podcast, the Duchess of Sussex has turned her attention to the brand’s upcoming Summer Drop, set to go live on Friday, June 20.
On June 18, As Ever’s official Instagram account shared a playful countdown graphic, captioned “Two more sleeps!” Meghan, 43, echoed the excitement by reposting it on her Instagram Stories, writing, “Two more sleeps indeed.”
The day before, the brand teased followers with a rare image of Meghan standing on a bridge, looking down at the water below. “How sweet it is to be loved by you… We love hearing all of your excitement for this week’s seasonal drop!” the caption read. Meghan reposted that one as well, adding, “Three more sleeps…”
The buzz around the drop follows Meghan’s recent Fast Company interview, in which she hinted at reevaluating her brand’s direction instead of simply restocking past sell-outs. But now, the Suits alum seems to be moving forward full-force, potentially unveiling new products under her growing lifestyle label.
In a June 17 appearance on the Aspire podcast with Emma Grede, Meghan confirmed that her podcast would be on hold for now. “I love that there’s so much excitement and desire for a second season,” she said. “But I need to focus on my business.”
With Meghan now fully focused on As Ever, fans are eagerly awaiting the Summer Drop—and all signs suggest the Duchess is just getting started.
