Rare family appearance comes amid Prince Harry’s ongoing security fight
Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly spared no expense to protect their children’s privacy during a rare outing in California.
Earlier this week, Princess Lilibet celebrated her fourth birthday on 4 June, with Meghan sharing several tributes on Instagram. On Friday, she revealed that the family marked the occasion with a special visit to Disneyland.
According to Hello! magazine, the Sussexes paid a substantial sum to ensure Archie and Lilibet remained out of the public eye.
“Celebrity guests are typically driven by a personal tour guide backstage to avoid crowds and use cast member entrances to access rides,” a source explained.
The couple also enjoyed VIP perks, including private snack service and a personal escort throughout the park.
A family photo shared online — with heart emojis covering Archie and Lilibet’s faces — was reportedly taken from Walt Disney’s apartment balcony above the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.
“They would have toured the apartment and likely had lunch there or at Club 33, Disney’s exclusive members-only club,” the insider added.
The VIP experience is said to have cost between $4,000 and $7,000.
The outing comes just weeks after Harry lost his appeal for UK police protection — a development that has only strengthened the couple’s determination to tightly manage their children’s public exposure.
Experts note that Harry and Meghan remain aligned on how much of Archie and Lilibet’s lives they are willing to share publicly.
