Future king reportedly plans decisive changes as part of succession blueprint
Prince William is said to be preparing an ambitious plan to reshape the monarchy when he becomes king, with reports suggesting he will strip Harry and Meghan Markle of their royal titles.
As King Charles continues to battle health issues, the Prince of Wales is reportedly drafting an action plan for his reign. A leaked succession blueprint, according to RadarOnline, indicates that one of William’s first acts as monarch will be to sever official ties with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The couple would also be excluded from the future king’s coronation.
Prince Andrew is likewise expected to face further restrictions, with William aiming to remove his uncle permanently from public life in light of past scandals.
In contrast, William is believed to have plans to promote their daughters to more prominent royal duties, reflecting a modernised vision for the monarchy.
The Prince of Wales is also focused on preparing his eldest son, Prince George, for his future role as king.
A former courtier noted: "William has no direct contact with Harry anymore, so it will be a clean break. A royal succession is always a good moment to make decisive changes." A close friend added: "He doesn’t think their rift will ever heal, and it’s better to move on."
