The 40-year-old singer and the Pirates of the Caribbean actor confirmed the end of their nine-year relationship in a joint statement this week, revealing they are shifting their focus to co-parenting their daughter.
According to a source close to the Roar hitmaker, the breakup has left Perry heartbroken. “It breaks my heart with her having to go through another breakup,” the insider told Page Six. “All she really wants is consistent love — to be heard and felt.”
Perry is currently dealing with the emotional fallout while also facing criticism over her new album 143 and a recent space travel controversy. “Katy needs a win right now,” the source added.
Meanwhile, Bloom was recently spotted mingling with Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney in a set of viral images, leading some to speculate that the time apart may have brought clarity to both.
