Prince William Reportedly Frustrated by Royal Snub of Beatrice, Eugenie, and Zara

Future King praises cousins’ dedication as he considers expanding their royal roles

Prince William is reportedly eager to bring his cousins—Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, and Zara Tindall—close into the royal fold, recognizing their dedication and potential as valuable assets to the monarchy's future.

While the Prince of Wales continues to support King Charles's vision of a slimmed-down monarchy, he is said to be growing increasingly “frustrated” by what he sees as a missed opportunity to utilize the strengths of his extended family.

With senior royals like Prince Andrew, Harry, and Meghan Markle stepping back from public life, William is understood to be rethinking the shape of royal engagement. According to GB News, he views Beatrice, Eugenie, and Zara as loyal, hard-working figures who could help shoulder the responsibilities of modern monarchy.

A former royal aide told Radar Online, “William has noticed how engaged and loyal his cousins are,” adding that he sees potential for them to take on more public-facing roles, particularly in areas such as youth development, health, and sport.

Royal commentator Richard Eden also noted in the Daily Mail that William's support for a leaner monarchy may now be shifting, inspired by the contributions of relatives often overlooked in official duties.

The Prince has made it clear that he wants his royal role to move beyond traditional ceremonies. “He’s not interested in endless ribbon-cutting,” a source said. "When he visits a funding project, he wants to know something tangible happened—something delivered, lives improved. That's what motivates him now."

As William prepares for his future as king, his evolving approach suggests a more inclusive royal team—one where dedication and impact may outweigh titles alone.
