With rumours swirling, the Duchess doubles down on her brand and future with Netflix
Meghan Markle is taking a bold stand to protect her future — and it’s not necessarily with Harry. As whispers of marital troubles continue to circulate, the Duchess of Sussex appears ready to gamble on her Netflix career to stay in the spotlight and safeguard her brand.
According to the Daily Mail’s Alison Boshoff, Meghan is keen to produce a third season of her lifestyle series With Love, Meghan, even though its first instalment struggled to gain traction — ranking a dismal 383rd on Netflix's platform. While the second season is already in the works, plans for a third are now sparking renewed interest, especially amid the growing speculation about her relationship with the Duke of Sussex.
“There will be a third series… if she wants to make one, and I hear she does,” Boshoff reported, suggesting Meghan’s focus is firmly on staying relevant through her streaming ventures.
The next chapter of her show could offer viewers a peek into the couple’s festive family traditions — if the pair remains together long enough for filming.
PR expert Dermot McNamara hinted that Netflix might still see gold in their royal content — especially if things unravel. “The fairytale narrative has stalled… but Netflix knows that if cracks appear, or if the couple splits, there’ll be global demand for the inside story,” he told The Mirror.
For now, Meghan seems set on pushing forward with Netflix — even if it means facing the cameras solo.
