Duke of Sussex ‘feels sidelined’ as Meghan focuses on lifestyle brand
Prince Harry is said to be struggling as Meghan Markle’s shifting priorities leave him feeling isolated and overlooked. According to a report from Radar Online, the Duke of Sussex has been confiding in friends that married life has turned out very differently from what he imagined.
Sources claim the 40-year-old has grown frustrated as Meghan throws herself into building her lifestyle brand As Ever. While Harry is reportedly proud of her achievements, he feels left on the sidelines.
“Harry is feeling more isolated than ever. Meghan starts her day before sunrise, throws herself into an endless workload, and won’t hand things off,” one insider told the outlet. “Her expectations are so demanding that it leaves everyone on edge. This isn’t the life I thought I was choosing.”
The couple, who wed in 2018 and now live in California with their children Archie and Lilibet, have often faced speculation about their marriage. Meghan previously denied reports of a planned “post-divorce book,” while Harry once joked that the pair had been “divorced maybe 10, 12 times” in the press.
Still, insiders suggest tension stems from Meghan’s determination to manage nearly everything herself. “She doesn’t include Harry the way she once did, aside from the occasional acknowledgment,” the source claimed. “Most evenings he’s left with nothing to do while she’s tied up on calls or dealing with brand matters.”
Although Harry makes light of the situation, joking that he practically has to “book a slot” with his wife, those close to him say it genuinely troubles him. He has reportedly been urging Meghan to step back and take a proper break so they can spend more time together.
“He understands how much her business matters to her,” the insider added, “but he feels their marriage is slipping into second place.”
