Palace shares emotional tribute to Queen Elizabeth following Duchess’s interview
Buckingham Palace has released a heartfelt statement honouring Queen Elizabeth II, just hours after Meghan Markle gave a revealing new interview.
On the royal family’s official Instagram, King Charles’s office shared one of the late Queen’s iconic photographs alongside a touching message. The post read: “To mark today’s celebration of our four-legged friends, we’re looking back at the dogs which have captured the hearts of Members of the Royal Family over the years.”
The timing comes shortly after Meghan’s candid conversation with Emily Chang on The Circuit, where she reflected on her past struggles as a working royal. “It was different several years ago, where I couldn’t be as vocal… That felt a little bit inauthentic,” she explained.
When asked if balancing her role as a duchess with being relatable caused tension, Meghan replied: “No, I don’t find, I’m just being myself.”
Her comments have reignited speculation about her future memoir, with reports suggesting she may be preparing to share her unfiltered truth.
