Prince William and Catherine prepare for major changes as they take on key roles
Kate Middleton has given a glimpse into her recovery as she prepares to take on an important task assigned by King Charles.
In recent days, the Princess of Wales has returned to a busy public schedule. She first attended the Women's Rugby World Cup to support the England team, then made a surprise appearance alongside Prince William at a Women's Institute meeting in Berkshire to honour the late Queen Elizabeth II. She later carried out two solo visits in Kent, highlighting the work of the British textiles industry.
Commenting on her return to royal duties, royal expert Jennie Bond told The Mirror, “I'm quite surprised by the number of engagements she is carrying out. It does suggest that she is feeling stronger and more confident about her recovery. I think she is still keen to reserve the right to take things slowly when she feels the need and to prioritise her health and her children. But that’s OK. She is hugely popular and we all want her to take the time she needs before cramming her diary with royal duties.”
Her next high-profile appearance is expected during the upcoming state visit of Donald Trump and Melania Trump, which begins on September 16. The Prince William and Catherine are set to play key roles during the visit, with Catherine scheduled to appear alongside Melania in Frogmore Gardens to showcase the Scouts’ Squirrels programme.
