Meghan Markle Inspires a Royal Touch at Windsor Castle

It seems the royal household still admires a few of Meghan Markle’s personal touches. A new behind-the-scenes video from King Charles III’s office has caught the attention of royal watchers and food enthusiasts alike.

The nine-minute video takes viewers inside the preparations for the French state visit at Windsor Castle in July. Amid the polished silverware and grand table settings, one small detail stood out: a cocktail topped with dried flower petals. The drink, called L’entente, blends British gin, lemon curd, and French pastis, finished with dried French cornflowers and English roses.

What made this detail stand out is how much the floral garnish resembles the edible flower sprinkles Meghan popularised through her lifestyle brand, As Ever. Though likely a coincidence, it echoes the signature product she sells for $15 a tin — delicate flower sprinkles that became an unexpected hit.

In a past interview at the TIME100 Summit, Meghan admitted she hadn’t anticipated their popularity. “The obsession that has come with flower sprinkles, I was not expecting,” she said. “It speaks to the tiny moments of joy that are so effortless and just create a little bit of magic that we’re all craving in our everyday.”

Even if unintentional, the royal team’s use of floral garnishes hints at how Meghan’s influence continues to linger inside the palace.
