Prince Harry Acknowledges William After Meeting King Charles

Duke of Sussex signals harmony despite ongoing rift with brother

Prince Harry made a rare mention of his brother Prince William following a private meeting with their father King Charles III at Clarence House during his four-day visit to the UK. While the Duke of Sussex and the King met in London, the Prince of Wales did not attend the key event.

As he wrapped up his UK tour, Harry marked the first anniversary of the The Diana Award’s Decade of Youth Wellbeing initiative, a charity long supported by both brothers. According to Harry’s spokesperson, the event brought together young leaders, philanthropists, and changemakers in London for a discussion on how social activism is transforming mental health outcomes for young people.

On the official Sussexes website, Harry subtly credited William while highlighting their shared commitment to carrying on Princess Diana’s legacy. The statement noted that The Diana Award, founded in her memory and supported by both her sons, has focused on youth empowerment through mentoring programs, anti-bullying campaigns, and new approaches to mental health support for young people from racialised communities.

While Harry’s gesture signals a desire for harmony, his relationship with William remains strained despite recent steps toward reconciliation with their father.
