Prince Harry marked his 41st birthday with Meghan Markle and their children, Archie and Lilibet, as a new message from the Palace drew attention.
Just days after Harry reunited with his father, King Charles III, at Clarence House for the first time in 19 months, Buckingham Palace shared an upbeat video celebrating royal pageantry. The Palace confirmed that Harry had tea with the King during their private meeting before Harry quietly travelled to Ukraine, where he gave a candid interview to The Guardian about his family and future visits to the UK.
The Palace’s message coincided with Harry’s birthday and featured a video of troops rehearsing for an upcoming State Visit at Windsor Castle. “Marked with a Guard of Honour, the Ceremonial Welcome is the biggest piece of military theatre in a State Visit,” the message read. It also noted that preparations were underway to receive Donald Trump and Melania Trump on their two-day visit.
Harry has recently said his “conscience is clear” regarding his memoir Spare and stressed that his focus this year will be on his father, who is undergoing cancer treatment. Despite ongoing concerns over security arrangements, he said he still enjoys returning to the UK and that recent developments have brought the possibility of introducing his children to the King “closer.”
