Duke excited about family progress while Meghan remains cautious
Prince Harry is reportedly feeling optimistic about the future of his children, Archie, six, and Lilibet, four, after a recent reunion with his father, King Charles.
Speculation had suggested Harry was preparing to send Archie to Eton College, his old boarding school. A spokesperson quickly denied the rumours, confirming the Duke has “no plans” to enrol his son there.
For now, Archie and Lilibet will not be educated in the UK, but Harry believes his meeting with the King has opened the door for the children to spend more time with their grandfather. An insider told Heat Magazine that Harry has been on “cloud nine” since the reunion, with much of his focus now on what comes next.
“Every conversation circles back to this reunion,” the source said, adding that Harry sees it as “a wonderful thing for the whole family” and a chance to balance royal connections with independence in their careers and philanthropic work.
Although Harry lost his legal appeal against the UK Home Office over security arrangements, he did receive police protection during his most recent visit.
Meghan, however, is said to be less enthusiastic. She is reportedly “frustrated” that Harry is investing so much hope into a meeting that lasted less than an hour. According to the insider, she feels “there’s a lot of unfinished business.”
Still, Harry remains positive and has assured Meghan that there is nothing to be “nervous” about as he continues to view the reunion as a step forward.
