Prince Harry hints at bringing Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to the UK
Prince Harry has revealed that a long-awaited reunion between King Charles and his grandchildren is finally within reach.
In a recent interview with The Guardian, Harry said his latest visit to the UK had brought him closer to arranging for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to meet their grandfather.
Harry was in the UK from September 8 to 11 for a series of engagements, with the highlight being a private tea with the cancer-stricken King at Clarence House — their first meeting in 19 months.
Reflecting on his trip, Harry said, “Yes, I have enjoyed the week. I have always loved the UK and I always will love the UK. It’s been good to reconnect with the causes I am passionate about. I have been able to spend some time with people that I have known for so long. It is hard to do it from far away.”
When asked about bringing his children to Britain despite his concerns over security, he replied, “Yes, I would. This week has definitely brought that closer.”
Harry also admitted he wants to spend more time with his father, especially during his treatment, saying that in the coming years “the focus really has to be on my dad.”
