Former couple steps out together at Duchess of Kent’s funeral amid renewed controversy
Sarah Ferguson has spoken out after reuniting with her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, for the first time in months.
On Tuesday, September 16, the Duke and Duchess of York attended the funeral of Katharine, Duchess of Kent, at Westminster. After the service, Ferguson posted a solemn tribute on Instagram, sharing a photo of the coffin being carried and writing simply: “Remembering HRH The Duchess of Kent.”
The pair, who share their daughters, arrived at Westminster Cathedral from Royal Lodge in Windsor under police escort. Their appearance marked Andrew’s first public outing in months and came at a difficult time for the King’s younger brother.
In the United States, lawmakers are said to be reviewing more than a hundred emails between Andrew and the late Jeffrey Epstein. A source told the Daily Mail that the messages are both “embarrassing and incriminating” and could have devastating consequences for the Duke.
