Meghan Markle has reportedly taken steps to preserve her marriage with Harry by agreeing to maintain some ties to the royal family.
According to a royal insider, the Duchess of Sussex decided not to challenge Harry’s desire to reconcile with his father, King Charles. “She has saved her marriage with Harry by saying yes to the Duke’s decision of reconciliation,” the source claimed.
While Meghan has long distanced herself from life as a working royal, critics argue that she continues to hold on to symbols of her former role. The Daily Mail noted that a recent Instagram post sparked discussion over her lingering royal ties.
In the video, shared from her Montecito home, the 44-year-old displayed a bouquet of flowers, listing them in her caption:
“Delphinium, Nigella, Veronica - meet As ever. With garden roses and Queen Anne's lace (and a very sleepy Mia). Looking lovely, ladies.”
The arrangement was set in a vase branded with her lifestyle company As Ever, prompting speculation that the post was not only a nod to her aesthetic but also a teaser for a future product.
Though Meghan made no mention of the royal family, some commentators see the display as another sign she cannot fully separate from her royal past.
