Harry is said to be delighted as Meghan Markle prepares to make peace with Catherine, the Princess of Wales. According to a report by Radar Online, the Duke of Sussex has been urging Meghan to reach out, believing it could help mend their strained relationship with Prince William as well.
“Harry’s been encouraging her to go for it because he’s convinced that if Meghan and Kate can clear the air, it’ll smooth things over with William, too,” a source revealed.
Despite her nerves, Meghan reportedly sees the value in reconnecting. The former Suits actress is aware that rebuilding a bridge with Catherine could be an important step toward easing royal tensions.
An insider added that Meghan has been telling friends she’s ready to “forgive, forget, and move forward,” though she remains cautious about how her gesture will be received. “She hates that so much depends on whether she can earn Kate’s blessing,” the source noted.
Whether Catherine will respond positively remains uncertain. The two couples have had little contact since Harry and Meghan stepped down from royal duties in 2020 and later spoke publicly about their struggles within the monarchy.
