The Duke of Sussex is preparing for another trip to the United Kingdom, only weeks after his last visit, despite growing tensions with Palace courtiers.
Harry, who spent four days in Britain earlier this month, reportedly intends to return sooner than expected, a move that has delighted his father, King Charles. Their recent meeting, which lasted nearly an hour over a private tea, was seen as a tentative step towards reconciliation. However, the tone of that gathering remains a point of debate, with some suggesting it felt more like a formal courtesy call than a family reunion.
According to sources cited by Express UK, Harry is already considering bringing his children—Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four—on a future visit next year. The King has not seen his grandchildren since 2022, during the funeral of Queen Elizabeth, though it remains uncertain whether Meghan Markle would agree to the trip.
Behind the scenes, friction persists. Harry has warned courtiers against interfering in his efforts to mend ties, accusing some of working to undermine reconciliation. One insider went as far as to claim there was “no way back” for him, highlighting the deep mistrust within the Palace.
A spokesperson for Harry emphasised that the issue is strictly between father and son, declaring: “This is for the two of them and the two of them only. The men in grey suits should stay out of it.”
