Virginia Giuffre’s family urges the monarch to take stronger action and set an example for justice within the royal household.
King Charles has been urged to do more following an emotional message from Virginia Giuffre’s family, who say they are not satisfied with recent actions involving Prince Andrew.
The plea came as Virginia’s brother, Sky Roberts, and his wife, Amanda, appeared on This Morning to promote the posthumous memoir Nobody’s Girl. They called on the King to “promote change” and take a stronger stand in protecting the innocent, no matter who is involved.
“You have an opportunity to be a royal family that stands for what’s right,” Amanda said during the interview. “For your people to trust you, and for other governments to trust you, we’re hoping you’ll do the right thing.”
She added that her sister had “waited far too long” for acknowledgment and justice, urging the monarch to lead with integrity.
Earlier this month, Prince Andrew confirmed that he would no longer use his Duke of York title or his other honours, a move seen as a response to growing pressure on the royal family. However, Giuffre’s family has said this is not enough and wants King Charles to take firmer action.
Buckingham Palace has not issued a response regarding Giuffre’s book or the family’s appeal.
