King Charles Extends Support to Andrew and Sarah’s Daughters

Monarch offers renewed roles and reassurance as the family moves past a difficult chapter

King Charles has signalled a fresh start for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s family, making it clear that the actions of their father will not define the future of his daughters within the royal fold.

After removing Andrew’s titles and honours, there were growing worries about how his daughters might fit into royal life. The King has now eased those concerns by giving both of them meaningful roles and a warm public welcome.

One daughter has been appointed Deputy Patron of Outward Bound, a long-standing charity connected to the royal family. The other took part in the King’s Foundation’s 35 under 35 network event after being promoted to mentor within a key initiative.

Royal commentator Ingrid Seward told The Sun that the King is determined to bring the sisters into the family’s work “in a way where they don’t feel they’re just being gratuitously pulled in, but they’re actually doing something for it.” She added that Charles feels especially protective of them during what she called “a hideous time.”

According to Seward, the King’s message has likely been simple and reassuring: they are being looked after as the family turns the page and moves forward.
