The monarch is reportedly considering severing ties with his scandal-ridden brother after renewed controversy.
King Charles is said to have reached his limit with his younger brother, Andrew, as fresh scandals push the monarch to distance himself from him for good.
Royal commentator Helena Chard told Fox News Digital that Charles, 76, is “furious” with Andrew and “can barely tolerate him” due to his inappropriate behaviour and public disgrace. “They’re completely different personalities,” she said. “Andrew, once nicknamed ‘Randy Andy,’ was sharp-tongued, attractive, and not exactly bright. Charles, on the other hand, has always been kind, sensitive, and hard-working.”
According to experts, the tension between the brothers dates back to their childhood and has only worsened over the years. The latest strain comes after the publication of Nobody’s Girl, a memoir by Andrew’s late accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre, which reignited public scrutiny over the Duke’s past.
In the wake of the renewed controversy, Charles reportedly stripped Andrew of his royal privileges and asked him to vacate his residence. The memoir, released on 21 October, makes further claims about Andrew’s alleged involvement in Jeffrey Epstein’s network — allegations he has consistently denied.
Giuffre, who passed away earlier this year, wrote that she was forced into encounters with the royal when she was a teenager. While Andrew has always rejected her claims, the fallout from the case continues to shadow the monarchy, leaving Charles determined to protect the royal family’s reputation at all costs.
