Couple praise the RHS for creating wreaths for Westminster Abbey’s Christmas service
With Christmas celebrations already underway across the UK, the Prince and Princess of Wales have shared a warm message of appreciation for the Royal Horticultural Society. Their joint Instagram account posted a note thanking the RHS for providing the wreaths that will decorate Westminster Abbey for this year’s Together at Christmas carol service.
The post includes a short video filmed at RHS Wisley Garden that shows the wreath making from start to finish. It gives a look at the hands-on work behind the decorations that will welcome guests to the Abbey.
Their message reads, “A big thank you to the Royal Horticultural Society, and @tomindeed, @damemaryberry, @angellicabell, @aritanderson and @simonlycett, for providing the wreaths for this year’s ‘Together at Christmas’ Carol Service, taking place tomorrow. Bringing the festive beauty of Mother Nature to Westminster Abbey.”
