Catherine is said to be running out of patience as another year passes without any real attempt at reconciliation from Harry and his children.
According to a source who spoke to Heat World, tension continues to build behind palace doors, with Catherine feeling increasingly disheartened by Harry’s silence.
The insider claims that ever since Megxit, she has worked hard to keep a line of communication open. This has included defending Harry when she could and maintaining discreet contact in the hope that it might help repair the relationship between the brothers.
However, that loyalty is now being tested. The source said Catherine is struggling to justify her continued support when Harry “keeps digging his heels in and refusing to do the one thing that could change everything”.
“There comes a point where you expect something in return,” the insider added. “And she’s not seeing that from Harry.”
From her perspective, any progress depends on Harry making the first move. The situation has become harder to ignore because he has still not called William to offer a proper apology.
The source explained that this remains the main obstacle. “The apology to William is the sticking point. From her point of view, that’s the bare minimum he should be doing, and the fact it still hasn’t happened is impossible to excuse.”
