Publishers reportedly want fresh revelations, but Harry fears it would end any chance of family peace
Meghan Markle is said to have been offered a huge sum to write a memoir revealing new details about her time in the royal family, but Harry is strongly opposed to the idea.
According to Heat Magazine, publishers are keen to secure a deal with Meghan, but only if she agrees to share previously untold stories about life inside the monarchy. The report claims Meghan is tempted by the offer, while Harry worries it could cause lasting damage to his already strained relationship with King Charles and Prince William.
A source alleged that Meghan has been searching for new ways to boost their income, but recent projects have not brought in the returns she expected. They said publishers are ready to pay “big money” if she is willing to speak openly about her in-laws.
However, Harry is reportedly against another explosive book, believing it would wipe out any remaining chance of repairing family ties. The insider claimed this disagreement is creating tension behind the scenes, despite the couple trying to present a united front.
The source also suggested that the Sussexes’ monthly expenses remain high and that they are burning through money faster than planned. With their business ventures still finding their footing, Meghan is said to feel it would be unwise to turn down a multi-million-pound offer to tell her side of the story.
For now, the couple are said to be divided, with money pressures on one side and the hope of reconciliation on the other.
