Meghan’s update comes as Harry waits for a key decision regarding his personal security in the UK. The Royal and VIP Executive Committee has carried out a fresh assessment of his security needs while in Britain.
Sources suggest the committee may restore his protection to the level he had before stepping back as a working royal in 2020 and relocating to the United States. The review followed a letter Harry sent to UK Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood after losing a High Court appeal against the Home Office.
If security arrangements are upgraded, it could clear the way for the Duke of Sussex to travel to the UK more freely, including visits with his children.
