Prince Harry is said to be nearing a crossroads that could force a major decision about his future with Meghan Markle, according to a new report.
Sources claim the Duke of Sussex has grown increasingly frustrated with a life that feels centred around Meghan’s ambitions, leaving little space for his own sense of purpose. Insiders suggest Harry believes his priorities have repeatedly taken a back seat as their day-to-day life and long-term plans have largely revolved around her career.
At the same time, Harry’s long-running push to regain armed security for visits to the UK appears to be gaining traction. People Magazine reports that there have been “positive” signals from the UK government, raising hopes of a possible reversal.
Another report, published by Radar Online, claims Harry is exploring options outside the United States. These reportedly include spending time at the couple’s $5 million property in Portugal or pursuing new opportunities in the Middle East.
According to the source, Harry may soon ask Meghan to either move with him or accept a period of living apart while he focuses on these plans. One insider said Harry’s determination to return more frequently to the UK reflects how unhappy he has become with life in California.
“He’s absolutely done with life in the States,” the source claimed, adding that while Meghan encouraged him to let the security issue go, she understands it was partly driven by his desire to escape.
The report suggests Harry believes staying in California risks further damaging whatever credibility and influence they still have. In his view, a change of base may be the only way to rebuild a sense of purpose and restore standing in the years ahead.
