Prince William and Queen Camilla back King Charles in Royal Lodge decision

Senior royals reportedly support move to remove Andrew from Windsor home

William and Queen Camilla are said to be standing firmly behind King Charles as he pushes for Andrew to leave Royal Lodge.

According to the Daily Mail, the former Duke of York is expected to move out of the 30-room property and relocate to Marsh Farm on the King’s Sandringham estate. The decision is reportedly part of Charles’s effort to limit further damage to the monarchy following Andrew’s past scandals.

Sources claim the Prince of Wales and Camilla have both encouraged the King to take a tougher stance. They believe the situation has dragged on for too long and continues to harm the royal family’s public image.

Not everyone in the family agrees. Princess Anne and Prince Edward are said to be uneasy about how harshly Andrew is being treated.

“Anne has been vocal with both the King and William about Andrew’s treatment,” one insider said. “Edward is backing her to some extent.”

The same source added that tensions have risen behind palace doors. “There are several arguments going on between Andrew and the King, and between the King and the wider family. Some feel the King has been too hard on his brother. William and Camilla take a harder line, which has caused a lot of family angst.”

Another source claimed Andrew has now accepted the situation and is preparing to move out sooner than expected.

“He’s finally decided he needs to get on with his life and is moving out earlier than planned,” the source said. “He wants a fresh start by the end of the month, or at least before his birthday in February.”
