Royal expert claims the move is about protecting her future, not making a stand
Sarah Ferguson has reportedly ended all contact with her ex-husband Andrew, following the same path as one of their daughters.
Royal expert Rob Shuter wrote in his Substack that sources close to the family say Sarah has “cut off all contact” with Andrew. According to insiders, the decision is not driven by principle but by self-preservation.
After years of publicly supporting him through repeated controversies, Sarah is said to have reached a breaking point. One source claimed, “He can no longer provide her a free home, zero rent… she’s out.” Another added that she is tired of being linked to his troubles and believes stepping away now could help salvage what remains of her reputation.
The claims come just days after reports suggested one of their daughters has also cut ties with Andrew. The Mail on Sunday recently reported that she has refused to speak to him and did not visit him with her family over Christmas.
An insider contrasted the two sisters’ approaches, saying the other daughter is trying to balance loyalty to her father with staying close to the Royal Family. “They aren’t exactly in regular and close contact at the moment,” the source said. “But the other one isn’t trying to walk that line. She’s not speaking to him.”
